Soy Curly Jerky

Ingredients

2 Tablespoons liquid aminos or soy sauce

1 Tablespoon blackstrap molasses

2 teaspoons liquid smoke

½ teaspoon onion powder

½ teaspoon garlic powder

¼ teaspoon cayenne, more or less to taste

2 Tablespoons olive oil

1 cup boiling water

4 cups Butler Soy Curls, (dry)

Directions

  1. Combine all ingredients except soy curls in a large bowl and whisk together.
    Add soy curls and toss to coat.
  2. Leave to soak for 10-15 minutes, stirring every so often to coat evenly.
  3. When most of the liquid is absorbed, place soy curls in an air fryer basket and air fry for 20 minutes at 180℉*, stirring midway through.
  4. Remove from air fryer and put in a lidded bowl for storage.

* or bake in an oven at 225℉ for 45 minutes to one hour, checking and flipping periodically.
